The training plan called for 1:30hrs of zone2 work. I am going to call it good with 1:00hr spin class which my heart rate was at or above zone2. And 1:00hr weight workout. Since this was my first session lifting, I was conservative with the weight.
PS... I made up the 30minutes that I was short yesterday. I feel better now :)

That sounds like a good off season workout day. Ride some, lift some. There's plenty of time when there's snow/ice in Feb/March to spend hours and hours on the trainer. Build up strength now that you can transition to on bike strength later.
Yep... Except this morning I used very light weights and high reps. I need to work on my sprint. I got my power #s from a computrainer test. I have good 5 minute power (cat 3 level) but my 15sec & 1minute power suck. I figure weights and intervals will help.
